Job Description:

• Facilitate the coordination and preparation of the loan processing function for an acceptable volume of loans.
• Counsel interested/appropriate parties according to guidelines and requirements necessary to complete and prepare files for closing.
• Ensure the staff has completed all work accurately and within the timings and practices established by state and federal and company guidelines.
• Implement workflow guidelines, policies and procedures to the staff.
• Resolve problems that come about and answer questions of the staff.
• Communicate with internal and external customers to reach resolutions to problems.
• Perform day to day monitoring of workflow of the Processing department ensuring good relationships with brokers, AEs, support staff and vendors to ensure expectations are exceeded.
• Maintain timeframe expectations.
• Train, and help oversee an efficient and knowledgeable staff through coaching, training, and personal leadership.
• Analyze any escalated ssues and determine the appropriate solution and communicate with internal and external customers to resolve the problems as quickly as possible.
• Turn strategy and plans into results and consistently deliver on aggressive performance goals with regard to customer satisfactions results.
• Review and analyze procedures for more efficient and cost effective ways of handling the workflow.
• Determine needed changes and implement and communicate changes to Supervisor/Manager. Communicate information concerning department issues to management.
• Keep management apprised of developments as they relate to personnel, workflow and special projects.
• Communicate and coordinate changes in policy and procedures that affect other departments.
• Meet or exceed quality/legal expectations - including MSA.

Qualifications:

• High School/GED required. College degree (BA/BS) preferred.
• Knowledge of CMI processes/procedures/systems required.
• Mortgage knowledge is necessary.
• Ability to handle escalations required.
• Mathematical skills necessary.
• Team oriented with strong abilities to communicate effectively via telephone and written correspondence.
• Must be detailed oriented.
