Shall:

*** Review, interpret and evaluate scientific data from complex scientific studies submitted in support of applications to register economic poisons (pesticides).

*** Document and advise on conclusions and recommendations resulting from the evaluation of studies, publications and other related data.

*** Prepare assessment reports.

*** Originate, design, and implement a wide range of risk assessments, incorporating toxicity and exposure studies to estimate the level or risk that could result from exposure to a known concentration of chemical or biological material.

*** Review and evaluate testing procedures to ensure compliance with the appropriate protocols, guidelines, and sound scientific practices.
