Choral Director Position Opening

The South Metro Chorale (http://www.southmetrochorale.org) is seeking well qualified candidates for the position of Artistic Director.Responsibilities include planning concerts, selecting repertoire, arranging venues, recruiting members and rehearsing a 40-member auditioned choir to present 4 to 6 concerts plus a spring fundraising variety show (Cabaret) each year. This community choir currently rehearses in Prior Lake, MN on Tuesday nights from September through April. Concert venues are typically churches in Savage, Bloomington, Burnsville, Lakeville, Shakopee and Prior Lake. The Artistic Director is compensated by monthly stipend during the performing season.

Now in its 15th year, the South Metro Chorale (SMC) is proud of its accomplishments and looks to the future with expectations of continuing and advancing success.
