Corporate Services, Inc. currently has immediate job opportunities with one of our clients in the Western Wisconsin area. A local manufacturer is currently seeking a fulltime 2nd Shift Gear Department Group Leader with machine operating skills. Job duties will include supervising a crew of machinists on a 2nd shift and ensuring production operations run smoothly within the gear department, reading blueprints, and using precise measuring instruments for parts inspections. The Group Lead will be responsible for training new team members, troubleshooting machine and production issues, coordinating job priorities and day-to-day tasks, and setting up and developing new gears and parts.  The gear department will handle a variety of different gear cutting and shaping equipment such as bevel gears, gear hobbing and lapping, and broaching machines. This is a fulltime, temp-to-hire opportunity on a second shift and starting pay is dependent upon skill level. Qualified candidates will have a technical degree in machine tool technology or gear cutting and a minimum of 5 years experience in gear manufacturing, and preferably have past supervisory skills.
