Take responsibility for the development and administration of systems, information, and facilities security procedures as prescribed by Customers, the NISPOM and DOD specific policies and procedures.

Shall be responsible for:

*** System compliance.

*** Auditing.

*** Security plan development.

*** Performing self-inspections.

*** Certifying systems in accordance with the NISPOM.

*** Developing and implementing information systems security education and awareness.

Also will interact with government agencies to obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations; investigate information system security violations and prepare reports; prepare corrective actions for deficiencies and prepare preventative actions to be taken for the future.
