Part-time opportunity that will lead to a full-time position for the right candidate. The Communications Specialist will report to the Marketing Strategies Director, and work closely with the internal teams of the organization.
Candidates should possess exceptional writing/editing abilities, superior interpersonal communication skills, and 3-5 years work experience in communications, marketing or public relations. MS Word, Excel Outlook proficiency required; experience with Raiser's Edge a plus.
- BA Degree required (English, Communication, Marketing, Journalism or Public Relations preferred)
- Experience in the non-profit industry highly desirable
Create web content, assist with email, social media and print communications; write and submit press releases; maintain and organize marketing files; participate in staff development and fundraising events and provide administrative support to Marketing Director as required. Special projects as assigned.
