Applicant must perform all aspects of metallurgical sectioning, mounting, polishing, and etching as required by the client’s instructions. Works within quality control manual to ensure continuous conformance consistent with established quality standards. Maintain all equipment, supplies and support necessary to perform the metallurgical testing process in an acceptable timeframe. Identify and act upon areas of needed improvement. Must be self-directed and able to work with a minimum of supervision. Computer skills including spreadsheets and databases are required.
