Multi-national company with over 40 years experience in the custom alloy market has immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer to support our dynamic growth in the area of refining precious metals for use in micro processers, micro electronics, semiconductors, and other high end applications.

The main function of this position will be to develop processes that accurately and consistently measure the metallic properties and content purity of incoming raw precious metals and in-house refined precious metals.

Additional responsibilities:

*** Selecting metal distributors to assure the acquisition of the highest quality products.

*** Developing SOP's to ensure consistent, repeatable, precious metal refining processes and convey these procedures orally and in writing to all equipment operators.

*** Improving production yields and reducing waste.

Candidate must possess previous experience in a manufacturing engineer position, excellent communication skills, and B.S. Metallurgy, Engineering or comparable field.
