ChildObesity180 seeks to provide an integrated national strategy and become a major catalyst to prioritize and drive the necessary systemic changes to reverse childhood obesity within one generation's time. ChildObesity180 brings together national leaders from government, public health, academia, media, industry, philanthropy, and advocacy to create an innovative cross-sector approach to childhood obesity prevention. These diverse stakeholders, working together, will coordinate efforts to reverse the childhood obesity epidemic.

Utilizing an evidence-based framework for decision making and the collective expertise of the membership and project leadership, the ChildObesity180 group has selected its initial priority areas: children's access to healthier foods, physical activity, marketing to children, and eating out/restaurants. By leveraging the power of a partnership of national leaders from multiple sectors, ChildObesity180 is developing and implementing a portfolio of 6-8 innovative initiatives to accelerate and increase impact in these areas. We are seeking a Communications Coordinator to help execute a robust communications plan for ChildObesity180.
