Fixed Operations Manager

Our Client, A New Recreational Vehicle Dealership is looking for a Fixed Operations Manager who oversees the Service and Parts Department. Fixed Operations Manager is responsible for the reputation, efficiency and profitability of these Departments. They must posses’ strong leadership, organizational skills and strong communication to work with customers, employees and vendors.

Duties include:

-          Preparing an annual operating budget, goals and objectives for each department and monitoring the department’s performance.

-          Direct the hiring and training of Managers for the service and parts departments.

-          Working with the department managers to improve profitability and efficiency.

-          Creating and maintaining a positive relationship with customers, ensuring that department staff are helpful, as well as making customer satisfaction a priority to ensure referral and repeat business.

-          Working directly with customers and advisors to administrate warranty claims, as well as understanding and applying warranty guidelines.

-          Creating dealership service and pricing policies for approval by the General Manager.

-          Ensure that service repairs are performed efficiently and correctly by conducting spot checks on jobs.

-          Develop and maintain policies and procedures are to ensure the safe operations of the company, the compliance of the company with applicable governmental laws, rules and regulations.

Previous experience as a Service Advisor/Service Manager and a Technician Certificate will be considered an asset for this position. Please describe experience in job history as well as knowledge of Recreational Vehicles.
