The Project requires a senior ASP.NET Developer to participate in all aspects of the project including:  design, programming, testing, documentation, quality assurance and implementation.

The Senior ASP.NET Developer brings senior level skills in:

Languages/Platforms/Frameworks: ASP.NET4, C#, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, HTML5, DOM, CSS3.

Cross-cutting standards: consuming web services (SOAP/WSDL, REST), XML/XSL/XSD, X/HTML.

Middleware:  IIS6+.

IDEs and Development Tools: Microsoft VS2010, Team Foundation Server 2010.

Experienced with code versioning, branching and release methodologies.

Understanding of secure design and coding practices, use of SSL/Client Certificates.

The Senior ASP.NET Developer is proficient in web-based applications, user experience design and user interface design, Web content accessibility guidelines, Web services, databases enterprise middleware and system interfaces across multiple computing platforms. 

The Senior ASP.NET Developer is technically competent, has extensive knowledge and working experience in all aspects of application development and large multi-generational code base, communicates effectively, and is able to work both independently and as part of a team collaborating on complex projects.  The developer must adhere to the existing standards and procedures.

This position requires a self-starter with excellent communication skills.

Required Skills

Minimum of 5 years recent experience in ASP.NET software development.
