Overview

Drivers pick up hazardous material from retail locations and deliver to local warehouse. Pickups are throughout the New England area and typically fall within a 300-mile radius of the terminal. Drivers average 3-6 stops per day depending on route. Drivers load and offload materials via drum dolly and pallet jack. Drivers primarily work Monday thru Friday averaging 10-12 hours per day. Shift typically begins between 5:00-6:00am. On rare occasions Saturday work may be required. Drivers use handheld device for tracking/logging information. Drivers need to be courteous and professional, as they interact with customers frequently.

Compensation

$0.45 per mile

$17.50 per hour to start (non-driving activity)

Average weekly pay $1,000-$1,100
