 Position: Substitute Educational Aide/Special Education:
 Position is responsible for providing classroom or one-on-one support of special needs students.
 
 Requires compassionate person, preferrably with related experience with either special needs children or adults, and/or direct care. 

North Point Education Service Center Region covers a five county area in Ohio: Erie, Huron, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca
 
 
 Minimum Qualifications:
 
High School Diploma or equivalent
 
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs

Clean criminal background/ability to provide a clean background check through BCI and FBI
 
Three satisfactory work references.
 
Specific training when hired including: Blood-borne pathogens, Child Abuse Prevention and Awareness and Bullying. Trainings will be completed prior to the first day of work.

 
 Assignment detail: 

Position on call, as needed during school year, student days
 
Certain long term positions may be available. Pay: 8.25 to 8.50/hour
