Overview

Drivers pick up hazardous material from retail locations and deliver to local warehouse. Pickups are within a 300-mile radius. Drivers load and offload materials via drum dolly and pallet jack. Drivers average 4 stops per day. Drivers work Monday thru Friday with occasional Saturdays. Most days drivers will begin between 5:00am-6:00am. Drivers average 10-12 hours per day. On occasion, drivers may have 2-3 overnight deliveries per week. Company provides hotel for overnight deliveries. Drivers use handheld device for tracking/logging information. Drivers need to be courteous and professional, as they interact with customers frequently.

Compensation

$0.46 per mile

$17.00-$19.00 per hour, depending on experience (non-driving activity)
