Our client is a leading non-profit organization focused on a specific issue in healthcare. They fund research to prevent, cure, and manage a particular disease. They deliver services to hundreds of communities across the country, provide objective and credible information to those who seek it, and give voice to those who have been denied their rights because of the disease.
They are currently seeking a highly-experienced, highly-qualified individual to help them achieve their objectives in the Hawaii market.

As the Executive Director for our client, you’ll be responsible for providing senior-level oversight for a staff of 4 people in the Hawaii office. You’ll manage staff and volunteers (some of whom will be celebrities and other members of the “in crowd”), and oversee the development and execution of community-based fundraising and service programs.
To qualify, you must posses a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree preferred) and 4-6 years of progressive management experience in non-profit environments. Along with strong staff-management experience, including direct supervision of a large team, you must have a successful history with achieving an annual fundraising goal of $1 million. You must also have knowledge of the corporate environment and an understanding of the peculiarities of the Hawaiian market. Additionally, you must possess extensive hands-on experience in conducting special events, individual giving campaigns, donor stewardship, program delivery, and volunteer recruitment.
