Description Responsibilities:
1. Direct a team of highly skilled foundry
engineers interfacing with multiple foundries to drive Broadcom's next generation process technology platforms
2. Regular communication with the major fabless foundries, drive future process technology requirements, drive alignment between foundry partners, monitor production issues and drive the team to engineering solutions
3. Process technology requirement alignment with internal customers: Broadband Communications, Enterprise Networking, Wireless Connectivity and Mobile platforms and Central Engineering
4. Align technology requirements with internal QA organization
5. Alignment with Product Engineering, Assembly and Test Engineering teams
6. Oversee process improvements and yield enhancements through our foundry partners
7. Coordinate Quarterly Technology Review meetings with our foundry partners
8. Involvement in legal aspects related to our foundry partners
Job Requirements :
1.
M.SC (Ph.D in EE preferred) with at least 15 years of relevant industrial experience Required Industrial experience10-15+ years of relevant industrial experience
2. Managed sizeable engineering teams
3. Experienced in driving state-of the-art CMOS technology from inception to volume production
4. Proven track record of Operational and Manu acting Excellence

Description of the Ideal Candidate
Must be currently employed.Must be experienced at running teams of 20+.
Must be working at a fabless semiconductor company supporting high volume production at 65nm.
Must have relationships with our foundry partners (TSMC, UMC,Charter, SMIC).
Must have experience bringing up alternate fab sources/multi-fab foundry strategy.
Must have experience bringing up nano-meter CMOS including large amounts of Analog/RF.
