Kiosk/Digital Signage Field Service Technician
Requires common sense and fundamental computer tech skills. C++ and Java programming skills a plus (but not necessary). software development a plus
FSEs are responsible for setup, installation, inspection, operation, maintenance, repairs (scheduled and emergency), and modification on all Kiosk ,digital and Wifi equipment in the field. FSEs also assist with installations and provide support in escalated situations. Major tasks include preventive maintenance, system level troubleshooting, repairs, field service calls, field upgrades, training and providing technical supports via emails and/or phones.
FSTs are required to work out of home office as well as travel to install sites to service machines. They must have a Vehicle Truck or SUV preferred, valid, driver’s license and proof of current insurance. Positions requires local travel (and some our of area travel
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
· Perform onsite preventive maintenance, unscheduled maintenance/repair and remote repair on all Digital Kiosk, Digital Signage, Wifi Routers, Internet Routers, Computer and monitor equipment .
· Work closely with supportive technical support team to resolve escalated problems.
· Identify and analyze root causes of system inefficiencies or failure.
· Assist in remote monitoring and troubleshooting of Kiosk and digital signage systems.
· Provide detailed documentation for each site visit performed and enter into our tracking system in a timely manner.
· Maintain equipment, calibration items, and other job related materials.
· Pre-Installation Site Surveys to ensure that the sites are ready, eliminating costly delays during the installation process.
· Site preparation services: Upon completion of the Pre-Installation Site Survey provide onsite installation of any needed items such as electrical, connectivity, and custom mounting brackets of anchoring kits for the kiosk.
· Roll-out Services: For larger kiosk deployments (quantity 20 to 100
· Llight construction helpful, you will need to secure equipment and make sure that it properly supplied with power. must be able to lift 100lbs and use a dolly.
· Identify and resolve more complex problems and applies problem-solving skills in order to deal with most situations.
· Handle calls and email inquiries from the field and provides technical support.
· Implement software changes and updates remotely, as well as at locations.
· Install, integrate and test products at wireless kiosk and digital signage locations.
· Support field acceptance of products.

QUALIFICATIONS:
· Highly reliable self-starter; can-do attitude; able to work with minimal supervision.
· Ability to focus and understand field support needs; strong interpersonal and telephone skills for regular field interaction .
· Must be able to perform move, add and change orders as well as service tickets from beginning to completion.
· 3 or more years of experience in installing computer equipment, network solutions.
· Wifi service or repairing electro-mechanical capital equipments preferred.
· Capital equipments with complex electro-mechanical with some software experiences are advantageous.
· Advanced Hands-on experience with Windows Vista/XP and Linux and Cisco systems.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills; understanding of complex Computer electro-mechanical systems preferred .
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite , Database management and network servers.
· Custodial services such as cleaning interior/exterior of kiosks on a scheduled basis
· Excellent oral and written communication skills within all levels of the organization; ability to make presentations before a group of people.
· Demonstrated self-initiative and sound judgment.
· A team player who exhibits a high level of integrity and professionalism.

· Must be able to quickly learn and apply knowledge to real-world problems.

· Must be able to lift or move approximately 50-100 pounds
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate degree or Technical diploma in a technical field such as computer or electronics industry experience and 2-8 years of relevant industry experience (field service, technician, etc)
Experience in a relevant field (eg. Electronics Technician)
2+ years with mechanical background & electronics
3+ years computer technical experience with working knowledge of WindowsVista / XP Linux
Wifi installation and internet installation experience preferred.
Training will require2-3 days in Denver Colorado as well as Local Training.
Compensation: $12-20 per hour DOE. Incentive and Benifits available, Paid training, Expense paid will lead to FT and Possiable Management Position
