Title: Director – Visual Communications
Reporting to: VP of Marketing
Salary: $100k to $115k. + 15% bonus.
Located: HQ in Cranston, RI
A fine quality brand is currently looking for new talent! They are in need of a creative Director of Visual Communications to oversee the interpretation and implementation of all visual communications tools including point of sale and collateral support materials within the U.S. market.
Responsibilities:
- Provide visual communications support for the Marketing Department, PR/Communications, Retail & Wholesale Sales Management/Operations and other internal partners
- Establish and maintain merchandising strategies to ensure that product categories, sales occasions, price points and marketing activity is being appropriately highlighted throughout the store while ensuring a clean presentation of product and clear communication of marketing activity
- Confirm the overall look of retail presentations including plans/planograms for store planning, visual merchandise presentation, floor fixture plan, fixture/enhancement/collateral, seasonal presentations, windows/public lease line, in-case merchandising, top-of-counter displays, programs/diagrams/instructions, visual aesthetics, store openings, specials events and related areas
- Review and approve all in-store merchandising and communication material to ensure effective implementation of programs at point of sale
- Provide market input, feedback and recommendations to central marketing for enhancement of programs and their effectiveness
- Oversee creative development and resource management related to design and implementation
- Participate in the development of an annual budget and operate within budgetary guidelines. As well, prepare monthly reconciliation and reports on progress for communications and departmental budgets.
- Participates in making employment decisions, including employment discipline, training, assignment and termination
- Ensures all practices meet applicable legal requirements, policies and procedures
- Evaluate daily operations on an ongoing basis and make recommendations/initiate action to ensure continuous improvement via enhancing productivity, efficiency, effectiveness and profitability
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- 8 + years experience working with a premium fashion brand
- Excellent English skills, oral and written
- Thrives in a fast paced environment and comfortable working independently
- Presentation, leadership, and decision making skills
- Flexible, organized, and team-oriented
