A top 20 CPA Firm in Newark, New Jersey is looking to hire a full-time Senior Tax Manager

Attractive salary of $110k - $140k (DOE)

Relocation: NO (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY)

EDUCATION:

*   Bachelors degree in accounting with advanced degree in Taxation or J.D. or a CPA License.
*   The ideal candidate must have a CPA license or an MS in taxation.

EXPERIENCE:

*   Minimum of 6 Years in a Public Accounting environment including experience in using tax preparation software.

SKILLS:

Computer Literacy, including strong excel skills; ability to work within a team environment; excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects; excellent written and verbal communication skills.

JOB DUTIES:

Oversee, train, and develop staff as well as provide informal and formal feedback regarding their performance; review and maintain tax returns and budgets; research and consulting on complex tax matters keep partners; updated about the status of the engagement; communicate and maintain client relations; answer various questions from staff that is working on engagements; supervise client billing; and visit potential client sites for business proposals.
