Construction Manager - Environmental Remediation
Location: Oakland, CA
Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
We are seeking a Senior Level Construction Manager / Civil Engineer to oversee the project management of a portfolio of environmental restoration projects throughout the California marketplace.
The ideal individual would have at least 7+ years experience in the management of environmental remediation and chemical removals for projects ranging from heavy excavation, dirt moving, underground utilities, power generation facilities and wastewater plants.
Candidates must have strong understanding of civil and environmental construction practices to include estimating, onsite construction supervision, management of documentation (RFI’s, change orders, etc), manpower / material budgeting, and bid preparation for projects. The construction manager will oversee all aspects of the project from initial bid through project closeout. Candidates must have a strong understanding of environmental construction practices involving wetlands, endangered species and environmental remediation.
Requires a Degree in civil engineering, construction management or related discipline. Registration as a California EIT or PE is a plus to consideration. Must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities
