Our client, located in southwestern NH is seeking a second-shift (3:30 pm – midnight) Quality Engineer to work as part of a team with manufacturing and engineering.
Responsible for investigation of quality issues; developing, implementing and tracking solutions, as well as quality assurance metrics with a focus on reduction of internal defects and process improvements.
Familiarity with roundness, surface texture, form measurement, and GD&T is required. Experience with CMM’s, working knowledge of process capability studies, statistical process control, process FMEA’s and MSA is required.
Strong mathematical, analytical, communication and MS Office skills required. Knowledge of materials and experience in heat treating and plating are a plus.
Must have strong problem solving skills and be able to multi-task in a team environment.
BSME or related field and three plus years of quality engineering and machining experience.
