My Client provides health economic, outcomes research and consultancy services to industry, health service and government clients around the world. Responsibilities associated with this position Include:
· Designing and conducting studies to evaluate the value of new health care interventions including pharmaceuticals and medical devices (studies include the evaluation of health-related quality of life (HRQL) and other patient-reported outcomes (PROs), and will involve instrument development and psychometric evaluation)
· Developing business and fostering client relations
· Presentation of research at scientific conferences and submission of manuscripts to peer-reviewed scientific journals
· Supervising mid-level staff
Job requirements:
· PhD in psychology, sociology, health services research, or biostatistics, with experience in measurement, instrument development, and psychometrics; or Master’s equivalent with minimum of 5 yrs. experience
· Experience working within or for the pharmaceutical or medical device industry desirable
· Ability to communicate effectively
· Demonstrated expertise evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals or abstracts presented at national meetings
