A top national firm's West Palm Beach Office seeks a patent associate with a minimum of 5+ years of patent prosecution experience. Experience drafting and prosecuting complex electrical/mechanical and software patent applications, preparing legal opinions, and providing litigation support is required. Must possess substantial experience in drafting non-provisional patent applications and office action responses. Candidates will hold an Electrical or Computer Engineering degree. Computer science candidates may be considered depending on breadth of technology experience. Experience in telecommunications is helpful.
Candidate must be a member of the Florida Bar or willing to sit for next examination. Patent agents must be must be registered with the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
