Emergency Department Clinical Manager needed for Baltimore area acute care hospital. The Clinical Manager is the first line manager for the ED and has 24 hour accountability and responsibility for the overall operation of the unit. Manager supervises the Staffing Coordinator, Contractual Coordinator, Admissions Nurse, and the internal and external agency personnel. He/She is responsible for annually meeting budgetary goals, performance goals, patient safety goals, and other goals set by the organization. He/She is also responsible for periodic reviews and evaluations of the internal and external agency personnel. Masters prepared candidates highly desirable. Position Requirements: 3 years experience in acute care facility; At least 1 year experience in a clinical specialty area; At least 2 years management experience in an Emergency Department is desired; Licensed Registered Nurse; Master Degree preferred.
