This is a supervisory position responsible for the efficient management of Section 8 participant certifications through a continuous case management system. The person who fills this position will be responsible for the coordination, development, and implementation and/or monitoring of special projects. Assist in assuring departmental functions are in compliance with HUD regulations and HACP Section 8 Program policies. Has the ability to effectively interact with applicants and participants, as well as outside agencies and other personnel is required. Conduct Project Based reviews in accordance to HUD rules and regulations. Monitor and execute the requirements in Public and Indian Housing Information Center (PIC). Monitor FSS compliance with the HCV Program in accordance with HUD rules and regulations. Must have excellent mathematical, analytical, and organizational skills, and be able to create computerized reports, forms, letters, and notices. Excellent customer service skills are required. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing is essential. Must be detail oriented. Must have a Valid PA Driver’s License and use of a vehicle during working hours. Employment requires City of Pittsburgh residency.
