Corporate Planning Analyst
Corporate Planning Analyst – Responsible for taking multi-year goals from corporate officers and directors and developing corporate plans to achieve goals and leading corporate planning by conducting accounting and financial analysis of domestic and global project proposals, reviewing contracts for business initiatives and potential acquisitions, reviewing and analyzing the company's contracts and agreements, financial statements, accounting records, business records, and employees for proposals to restructure current operations to become more profitable, reviewing proposals and draft corporate documents and contracts for corporate restructuring with subsidiaries and affiliates, preparing reports and presentations to top-level executives and corporate officers for approval, tracking and analyzing performance of adopted proposals and developing revisions to plans if necessary. Supervise 1 subordinate.
Requirements – Bachelor's or foreign degree equivalent in finance, accounting, law or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience performing corporate and tax accounting for U.S. subsidiaries of Japanese companies using GAAP. Special skills - 1 year of experience implementing J-SOX; 1 year of experience with Toyota Production System (TPS); 1 year of experience with corporate budgeting and business planning; and 1 year of experience determining the strengths and weaknesses of business operations.
