Position Summary:
The Department of Management Information Systems (MIS) at the Eller College of Management is seeking applicants for a non-tenure track Adjunct Lecturer for Fall 2 2019.

The selected applicant will be expected to teach the online section of MIS 515, Information Security in Public and Private Sectors, in the Fall 2 2019 Semester.

Initial instruction will be limited to the Fall 2 2019 Session only, with the possibility of additional teaching assignments in subsequent semesters dependent upon department need.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Teach MIS 515 in the MIS Online program in Fall 2 2019 semester (October 28, 2019 – December 22, 2019).

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in MIS, Business Administration or related field, AND
minimum of 3 years professional experience in MIS.
- Experience in academic environment and pedagogy
- Experience in creating and delivering online courses
- Experience with D2L
- Past real-world experience managing information technology and security functions

Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional security certifications (CISM, CRISC, CISSP, etc.)
- Familiarity with DHS/NSA requirements for cybersecurity
