Cisco Voice Engineers
Install and configure Cisco Unified Communications products such as Cisco Call Manager and CCX, Cisco Unified Communications, and Cisco Call Center; install and configure voice gateways as part of the IT telephony system; perform Level 2 troubleshooting support in IP Telephony, SIP protocol, SIP gateways, and session border controllers using CUCM, CUC, UCCX, Jabber, SIP and SCCP; work with Cisco Call Manager and CCX to maintain continuous operation; assist with the installation and maintenance of system hardware and software products and releases for telecommunications; participate in the coordination of moves, adds and changes; configure and integrate various telecommunication devices such as the ROLM and ASPECT phone systems; investigate and resolve reported problems; perform administration functions for supported technologies; maintain standards and procedures documentation; provide backup support to the Help Desk, and perform duties and responsibilities involved with "on-call" support.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and three years’ experience in position or three years’ experience in related IT field.
Special requirements: Experience with CUCM, CUC, UCCX, Jabber, SIP and SCCP. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in US. EOE/AA
