Perform mechanical engineering design activities for new products and make changes to existing products utilizing design guidelines. Designing engineering solutions using CAD and GD&T. Perform engineering analysis using Computer Aided Engineering (Finite Element Analysis software), tolerance stack-ups; and risk analysis using FMEAs, RCAs tools for 8D. Applying proper tolerancing based on manufacturing methods and tolerance stack analysis. Conduct product testing and validation by developing test plans to verify design, product and manufacturing process i.e. DVP&R and PVP&R. Working with solenoids and electro-mechanical actuators. Coordinate engineering projects by overseeing engineering changes and new design projects by translating product specifications into product features, Bill of materials, design reviews. Assisting in APQP (Advanced product quality and planning) activities for new product developments.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Mechanical Engineering and two years’ experience in position or two years’ in mechanical engineering.
Special requirements: Experience with product development, Finite Element Analysis software, solenoids and electro-mechanical actuators; designing engineering solutions using CAD or GD&T; and applying proper tolerancing based on manufacturing methods and tolerance stack analysis.
