Advanced Database Administrators
Designing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring Oracle Databases on Linux and AWS platforms using SQL*Plus, 12c-OEM, Putty, Winscp, SQL Developer, Toad and Service Next. Maintaining the Oracle Database dictionaries and integration of systems through database design. Developing documenting and implementing guidelines, standards and procedures. Leading database development and management Production, QA and Dev system support, handling large database of 175 TB. Fixing the Performance Tuning issues in Oracle RAC Database and Goldengate Replications. Building, Monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance on 12c / 11g RAC and non RAC environments. Performance Tuning, Query Optimization using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler, Analysis AWR Report. Performing proactive and reactive monitoring of Oracle Databases systems to provide 24/7 uptime and availability across multiple datacenters. Troubleshooting performance trouble areas and data anomalies as they arise. Communicating and reviewing database issues, Solutions Technical Applications with Operations staff and external entities to ensure database integrity and security. Performing all standard database administrative tasks Including proactive performance tuning, load testing, monitoring, Profiling, back-up and recovery, partition, replication, Installation and configuration of 12c RAC / 11g RAC and Golden Gate. Handling database capacity Management across complex Oracle 12c RAC / 11g RAC (Real Application cluster) and non RAC environments. Providing Capacity Planning and forecasting estimates of DB capacity.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one year’s experience in position or one year’s experience in IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with Oracle databases, Linux, SQL*Plus, Putty, Winscp, SQL Developer and Service Next. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
