Analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications using Agile methodologies and Visio. Developing and implementing complex PL/SQL applications and/or application initiatives. Developing the GUI and Entity framework. Leading multiple modeling, simulations and analysis efforts to uncover the best application solutions. Writing PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, database triggers, views, collections, records and sequences. Analyzing and optimizing DML operations for better performance using advanced PL/SQL concepts, such as bulk collect, PL/SQL tables, cursors and Dynamic SQL. Creating and consuming RESTful Web Services. Developing and implementing Unix and Shell Scripting. Enhancing the applications using Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle CCB and Asset Suite and Toad. Developing and implementing test validations of the applications, including UAT and SIT. Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to meet project specifications. Participating in the deployment of the applications into existing systems and databases using Maven and Jenkins. Maintaining version control using Git. Being a technical resource for direct communications to team members in the project development, testing and implementation processes. Documenting modifications and enhancements made to the applications, systems and databases as required by the project.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and two years’ experience in position or two years’ experience in IT field (or Three Year Diploma or foreign degree equivalent and three years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with Oracle Utilities Work and Asset Management, Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle CCB and Asset Suite and Toad. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
