Designing and implementing Chef best practices for OIP(One Intuit Patterns). Analyzing, optimizing and validating data using SQL queries. Leading multiple modeling, simulation and analysis efforts to uncover the best build and release solutions. Coordinating Chef cookbook dependencies using Berskshelf. Decomposing a large, shared Chef cookbook into more reusable user friendly cookbooks. Developing and implementing test validations, including unit testing and integration testing, using ChefSpec and Serverspec/Inspec. Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to meet project specifications. Developing CI/CD for Chef cookbooks integrating Docker, Git and Jenkins in an AWS environment. Configuring the AWS EC2 cloud instances using Jenkins for the specified applications. Deploying the Chef cookbooks and applications into Web Sphere, Apache, JBoss, Nginx and Tomcat servers. Documenting modifications and enhancements made to the applications, cookbooks and systems as required by the project.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and two years’ experience in position or two years’ experience in IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with CI/CD, Chef, AWS and Jenkins. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
