Advanced Storage Engineers
Lay out architecture and design for next generation software defined storage platform which spans across multiple data centers as well as public cloud infrastructure. Lead design and layout of NetApp storage units for production and DR, including Snap mirror connection between the storage units. Perform of data documentation for go-live of the DR environment. Implement a Cluster SAN (C-Mode) solutions. Identify, evaluate, PoC, design, test and automate storage architectures around object and file storage as well as cloud integrated backup and recovery pipelines. Create and implement cross country disaster recovery solution for production systems. Reduce costs by implementing a small footprint large capacity drive solution for storage products. Address storage issues by offering them customized solutions that take advantage of new storage architectures and technologies such as Integrated ILM, De-Duplication, NAS, SAN, Replication, VTL, etc. Assist with integrations and relationship building with third party solution vendors to facilitate the delivery of complete and seamless end-to-end solutions. Research and develop designs, including strategic roadmap for all infrastructure SAN/Storage devices and associated software and tools, ensuring enterprise-wide architecture consistency. Provide End to End IaaS Support with NETAPP and EMC Storage platforms. Write technical documents and developed manual for SAN and NAS.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Computer Networking or Engineering and one year’s experience in position or one year’s experience in IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with NetApp, EMC, SAN and NAS. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
