Analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications using an Agile methodology. Developing, configuring and administering Linux and windows Server in physical and virtual production environments. Conferring with system users to analyze and interpret system needs and system issues. Developing and implementing Power shell, Azure CLI, PowerCLI, Linux Bash scripting. Building cluster environments for high availability applications and increasing resources to accommodate the application. Leading multiple modeling, simulation and analysis efforts to uncover the best system solutions. Configuring and administering Hyper-V and Microsoft Azure. Creating effective VMware vSphere Infrastructure, PSC/SSO, vCenter, Update Manager, ESXi, networking, and storage. Coordinating Disaster recovery using VMware Site Recovery. Implementing multiple Cloud platforms in VMware and AWS. Creating and developing automation scripts using PowerCLI, Azure CLI, Bash and PowerShell. Configuring and supporting cloud compute VM virtual Infrastructure Environments on Azure scenarios. Implementing and supporting Azure Storage - Issues. Planning, designing and implementing Migrations of applications and Server infrastructure from on premises to Azure. Supporting Cloud Networking features to set up and configure and Manage, updates, and performance issues Azure such as VPN, SLB, App Gateway, Vnet, ExpressRoute, Traffic Manager, Azure Firewall. Implementing backups solutions and site recovery states while the time of disasters to keep the VMs and applications available all time. Implementing and developing scripts for automated and repeated orchestration to for repeated jobs, deploy patches and updates for the whole environment using Azure Monitor. Creating the Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and OS internal concepts. Developing and implementing test validations of the systems using POCs. Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to meet project specifications. Participating in the development of system securities. Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving systems issues identified during the testing lifecycle and identified by the user. Participating in the deployment of applications into the systems.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Engineering Management or Engineering and one year’s experience in position or one year’s experience in IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with creating VMware vSphere Infrastructure; disaster recovery using VMware Site Recovery; & developing automation scripts using PowerCLI, Azure CLI, Bash and PowerShell. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
