Advanced Systems Developers
Analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications using Agile. Coordinating the development and monitoring of Intrusion Prevention Systems (“IPS”), Network Access Control and FireEye policies across enterprise systems. Performing architecture and engineering of applications in support of security projects. Coordinating Business Impact Analysts and Risk Assessment to requested modifications to applications and systems. Coordinating and administrating network security and IDS/IPS. Monitoring and analyzing logs and alerts from a variety of different technologies (Splunk, QRadar, IDS/IPS, Firewall, Proxies, Anti-Virus, etc) across multiple platforms. Prioritizing identified vulnerabilities based upon risk to information systems, applications and data. Working with Security teams to fine tune control systems to meet the needs of the business. Analyzing and configuring network system security utilizing industry best practices for security and business continuity and change controls. Researching and analyzing violations within the system infrastructure. Investigating security incidents and aiding in the incident response process. Making improvements and suggestions to advance the overall security process within enterprise systems. Offering remediation and mitigation solutions based on vulnerabilities discovered. Participating in the deployment of applications into existing systems from a security perspective. Being a technical resource for direct communications to team members in the project development, testing and implementation processes. Documenting security related incidents using a defined governance process and procedures. Documenting modifications made to the systems as part of the overall security improvement process as required by the project.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one year’s experience in position or one year’s experience in IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with network security administration, IDS/IPS administration, Splunk, and firewalls and proxies. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
