Advanced Systems Engineers
Analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications using Agile methodologies. Designing, implementing and enhancing Oracle Web Logic Online Transaction Processing (“OLTP”) system platforms. Conceptualizing, designing and implementing portions of business and technical information technology solutions through the application of appropriate system software development lifecycle methodologies using Cloud Server administration, CI/CD methodologies, Jenkins, GIT, Linux, Jira, Kubernetes, Docker, Cassandra and Oracle. Leading multiple modeling, simulations and analysis efforts to uncover the best application and system solutions. Creating the architecture for application system services on Jboss web application servers. Developing Shell Scripts to automate the system management functions. Developing and implementing test validations of the applications and systems. Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to meet project specifications. Coordinating deployments of multiple system platforms across multiple cloud environments using OpenStack and Kubernetes. Overseeing the implementation of connectivity between Locus components and multiple internal data source systems. Developing Cookbooks for configuration management. Coordinating the deployment of applications into the system platforms using CI/CD methodologies, Jenkins, Chef and Maven. Maintaining version control using Git. Being a technical resource for direct communications to team members in the project development, testing and implementation processes. Documenting modifications and enhancements made to the applications and systems as required by the project.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one year’s experience in position or one year’s experience in IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with Cloud Server administration, CI/CD methodologies, Jenkins, GIT, Linux, Jira, Kubernetes, Docker, Cassandra and Oracle. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
