Build highly interactive relationships both with the customer and across scrum teams, time zones and culture. Effectively monitor, provision, install/configure, operate, and maintain systems hardware and software. Actively participate in DevOps groups responsible for the product CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins, Linux, Nagios and AWS. Automate of monitoring tasks, and execute creative dash boarding; attentively manage Service Requests, Incidents and Problems. Champion improvements into the product based on ease of trouble-shooting, monitoring, assurance, etc. Develop tools, scripts, or processes to make things better. Work with Change and Release management processes to deliver functional or maintenance releases. Work with Service Now, creating/updating Changes, Incidents, Problem tickets. Creating and editing Service Now Reports to fit changing requirements, and customer needs. Being a part of an on call rotation, supporting customers 24/7 for a week when on call. Collaborate closely with customers and partners to make all expectations met. Use Elastic search to troubleshoot, track trends, and monitor recoveries. Monitor infrastructure systems with Nagios/Sensu Engage the appropriate engineers for assistance when dealing with issues outside of our team’s scope. Run the queries on Kibana and Splunk to monitor the different environments.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Technology, Information Technology Management or Engineering and eight months’ experience in job offered or eight months’ experience in related IT field.
Special requirements: Experience with Jenkins, Linux, Nagios and AWS. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in US. EOE/AA
