Planning and executing a variety of methodologies in the overall project development of mainframe applications using Agile and Scrum methodologies. Researching, planning and developing project strategies. Meeting with project stakeholders. Coordinating test plans and test scripts for mainframe applications developed using COBOL, JCL, CA7, CICS, VSAM, MQ, DB2, IMS DB, SQL, MVS, Informatica, Unix and Teradata Studio. Ensuring the optimization of the developed applications using QC. Participate in project audits and other QA activities. Producing project documentation as required by the SDLC.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one year’s experience in position or one year’s experience in IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with COBOL, JCL, CA7, CICS, VSAM, MQ, DB2, IMS DB, SQL, MVS, Informatica, Unix and Teradata Studio. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
