Planning and executing a variety of methodologies in the overall project development of Commercial Property and Casualty insurance systems and applications. Researching and developing project strategies. Eliciting requirements for Commercial Property and Casualty insurance system projects. Identifying the story cards and creating the project backlog. Identifying the business rules, data requirements and mapping requirements by studying the application legacy and end user requirements. Meeting with project stakeholders to complete business analysis and systems analysis. Capturing requirements for Policy forms. Coordinating configurable systems for insurance rating, quoting, binding and issuing. Coordinating test plans and test scripts. Coordinating problem and issue reviews with follow up on assigned actions using Jira and QC. Participating in project audits and other QA activities. Producing protect documentation as required by the SDLC.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Business or Engineering and one year’s experience in position or one year’s experience in IT or Business Analysis field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with eliciting requirements for Commercial Property and Casualty insurance systems; coordinating configurable systems for insurance rating, quoting, binding and issuing; and capturing requirements for Policy forms. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
