Meet with stakeholders to validate business cases and to gather facts for establishing and gaining agreement on project charters. Create project charters and analyzes business cases to validate and clarify issues, justify use of project resources and to anticipate risks. Organize team meetings and schedules to develop project activities and to review and initiate best practices. Interact with Technical and Functional Managers to request and obtain authorization for staffing teams and to identify and acquire project resources. Coordinate project scope, the software development lifecycle and budgets (including Business Requirement Gathering and Analysis, Stakeholder analysis, Problem and Root Cause Analysis, Process and Workflow design, Risk Management and Test scope specification and planning) using MS Project and Active Directory Services. Develop work breakdown structures to create roadmaps for identifying and organizing project resources and to establish project schedules for assigning and clarifying roles and responsibilities. Create change management plans to provide guidance for incorporating and communicating shifts in project directives, scopes, deliverables and timelines. Applies PM tools and methodologies to ensure project milestones are achieved and scope is maintained. Gather and analyze project metrics to evaluate project performance and to manage issues, risk and changes of scope. Perform assessments throughout projects to identify risks and potential impact and to develop response strategies for managing and mitigating risk factors. Obtain formal approvals for closing project plans to ensure deliverables, requirements and expectations were met. Under direction, conduct project management research and studies trends and developments to support PMO team members and industry colleagues.
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and two years’ experience or two years’ experience in IT field.
Special requirements: Experience with Business Requirement Gathering and Analysis, Stakeholder analysis, Problem and Root Cause Analysis, Process and Workflow design, Risk Management, Test scope specification and planning, MS Project and Active Directory Services.
