Managing the development and enhancement of software development projects using Agile, Scrum, PMBOK and Waterfall methodologies. Defining the scope, objective and deliverables of the projects, including review of user requests and participating in decisions regarding project feasibility and direction from a technical perspective. Coordinating and approving business requirements, including Use Cases. Developing detailed work plans, tasks, priorities and resources to implement the defined strategies. Reviewing and analyzing project plans and making recommendations regarding project feasibility, direction and prioritization. Developing project operation strategies using Jira and MS Project. Conducting IT project process and control assessments, including Information Risk Management. Managing the testing of the products and monitoring the resolution of defects identified during the test. Managing the deployment of the developed project. Creating process workflows for the teams to adhere to. Identifying and reporting project risks and progress for senior managers. Developing risk mitigation strategies. Developing and delivering reports, points of view and solutions summaries for senior management.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Information Management or Engineering and one year’s experience in position or one year’s experience in IT Management field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with IT project management, Agile, Scrum, PMBOK and Waterfall methodologies, information risk management, Jira, MS Project and conducting IT process and control assessments. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
