Senior Electrical Engineers
Analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications. Preparing technical drawings and specifications for new products. Designing, testing and implementing electrical components within the products using Labview, C++, and Perl scripting languages. Modifying manufacturing processes and developing tooling to appropriately manufacture the electrical components using CAD and/or Solid Work. Participating in control system modeling. Developing and implementing electrical testing for the products, including system verification. Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to meet project specifications. Collecting and analyzing data and calculating process capabilities related to new product specifications. Identifying gaps in test capability, process capability and/or incoming product capability as necessary to ensure organizational awareness of the issues. Driving to close gaps and issues identified during the testing life cycle as possible. Participating in the development on the proto assembly line that will ultimately manufacture the product. Coordinating the scope, scheduling and resources for the project. Researching and compiling data for future modifications to the products. Documenting modifications and enhancements made to the products as required by the project.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electrical Engineering and six months’ experience in position or six months’ experience in Electrical or Computer Engineering field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with testing electrical components, system verification, Labview, C++, and Perl scripting languages. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
