Senior Network Engineers
Creating logical diagrams of network components and Cisco operating systems, including load balancers, access gateways, SSL VPN and reverse proxies. Developing and configuring F5 load balancer appliances (physical hardware and version upgrade) which supports major applications and servers. Publishing multiple web applications over secure access gateways (SAG) and network load balancers using F5 platforms with restrictive access under enterprise security guidelines. Designing and developing network architecture for multiple new and existing networks using F5 Load Balancer, Cisco switches, Microsoft Windows Server, UNIX, Checkpoint and ASA Firewalls, Bluecoat proxy, Riverbed and Splunk Monitoring. Creating and implementing network security policies and firewall rules. Design and build disaster recovery for multiple network and applications. Creating RCA (root cause analysis) documents and standard procedures for network issues.Providing support in creating conceptual design for integrating AWS VPC to access data sources to our on premises data center using VPN. Monitoring and troubleshooting the network with network monitoring tools. Documenting network configuration change procedures, backup policy procedures, auditing and failures. Validating and approving L1 and L2 tasks, incidents, change requests and providing subject matter expert (SME) knowledge. Providing optimal network and security solutions to project leads and application owners securing policies and infrastructure.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one year’s experience in position or one year’s experience in IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with F5 Load Balancer, Cisco switches, Microsoft Windows Server, UNIX, Checkpoint and ASA Firewalls, Bluecoat proxy, Riverbed and Splunk Monitoring. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
