Senior Network Engineers
Analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications on Websphere/Weblogic architecture. Coordinating the technical life cycle of the network infrastructure stack in strategic emerging technology projects across planning, initialization and operationalization phases. Creating reusable network systems, infrastructures, frameworks and tools for use across enterprise-wide architecture using Weblogic, Websphere, Oracle Database, Wireshark, Dynatrace, Netscout, Sharepoint, Putty Connection Manager, IIS, SQL developer, Linux/Unix, Tableau and IBM DataAnalytics tool, GoldenGate, DataGuard, Log Analyser. Designing specifications of multiple client/server architecture. Enhancing and deploying network components, including F5 Load Balancer, Firewalls, VPN and DNS. Creating Oracle backup and recovery policies using GoldenGate and DataGuard. Analyzing and enhancing network protocols (including analyzing network dumps) using TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS and SFTP. Building and enhancing Unix/Linux network environments, including scripting and performance tuning. Developing and implementing test validations of the network environments. Analyzing test results and recommending modifications to meet project specifications. Participating in the deployment of applications and data into the Oracle databases and network environments. Creating JDBC providers to provide connectivity to the Oracle databases. Guiding strategic direction of network architecture and providing best practice standards. Developing and publishing updated documentation on standards and application architecture. Documenting modifications and enhancements made to the network environments as required by the project.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one year’s experience in position or one year’s experience in IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with Weblogic, Websphere, Oracle, SQL developer and Linux/Unix. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
