Senior Project Managers
Overseeing the application of IT project management methodologies during all phases of the project cycle using Agile, Scrum and Waterfall methodologies, MS Project, Sharepoint, HP PPM and Visio. Leading the development and implementation of projects that are designing applications based on a three-tier architecture and Java frameworks. Coordinating efforts to develop and analyze options to solve business problems working with business and technology partners across the organization. Shaping technology solutions with changes in strategy, organization, business processes and/or technology solutions. Creating and implementing technical and operational plans and strategies. Managing large enterprise-level projects across entire organizations. Ensuring programs and projects align with and can help realize the future products suit. Coordinating the Software Development Life Cycle (“SDLC”) including project design, project scope, cost control and quality and performance reporting. Developing conceptual system requirements, system integration requirements and system phasing plan. Creating detailed project design documents. Defining/selecting technology solutions and determining the impact of current/existing technologies. Ensuring cost-effective and efficient project planning, including the development and maintenance of project plans. Managing project change orders and performance impact analysis. Preparing and presenting cost-benefit analysis for the financial application development project. Overseeing quality assurance and testing of the developed application. Defining and applying best practices for the solution architecture and communicating them to the user and development teams. Reviewing test results and recommending modifications to the applications to meet project specification using Jira, Rally and Clarity. Coordinating release management process, including the development and maintenance of implementation plan. Communicating project status with project team and end user. Performing variance analysis (including schedule, cost versus budget, resources and changes to scope). Performing project risk assessment quantification, response planning and control.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and two years’ experience in position or two years’ experience in IT Management field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with IT project management, MS Project, Agile, Scrum, JIRA, Rally, Sharepoint, Visio, Java and HP PPM. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
