Senior Reverse Engineer/Malware Analysts
Document vulnerabilities and Exploits used while analyzing a malware. Analyze, evaluate, and document malicious code behavior. Identify commonalities and differences between malware samples for purposes of grouping or classifying for attribution purposes. Research vulnerabilities, exploits, zero-day Malware and then providing early alerts to Security Engineering team along with mitigation strategy using Java, Commando VM, Splunk, EnCase, Paraben, WinDbg, PE Explorer, Process Hacker and Wireshark. Research and write actionable reports, ensure the accuracy and integrity of information throughout reporting. Impart training to internal team members on Reverse Engineering. Develop tools to identify a 0-day malware based on various characteristics of a file format. Assist the Cyber Security Operations team lead in developing and setting up frameworks for developing incident response TOOLKIT. Provide Cyber Security Operations team support.
Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Computer Forensics, Information Technology, Information Technology Management or Engineering and two years’ experience in job offered or two years’ experience in related IT field (or Bachelor’s degree in any above fields and five years’ of progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related IT Field).
Special requirements: Experience with Java, Commando VM, Splunk, EnCase, Paraben, WinDbg, PE Explorer, Process Hacker and Wireshark. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in US. EOE/AA
