Analyzing user requirements and defining functional specifications using Agile and Scrum methodologies. Designing, developing and modifying complex systems using AWS, DevOps processes, EC2, CloudFormation, Lambda, Splunk, Chef, Jenkins, Java Script, Oracle, SQL Server, Github, LINUX/UNIX and .NET framework. Implementing AWS cloud based infrastructure solutions. Setting up web application firewall rules and other required comprehensive security implementations. Developing solutions for logging and reporting ELK and Kinesis streaming. Monitoring applications using New Relic. Creating the automated build and deployment process for applications. Re-engineering setup for better user experience. Building a continuous integration system or all applications. Designing Python API to connect the Amazon S3 service to store and retrieve the media files. Setting up and building AWS infrastructure using various resources, VPC EC2, S3, IAM, EBS, Security Group, Auto Scaling and in Cloud Formation. Building S3 buckets and managing policies for S3 buckets and using S3 bucket and Glacier for storage and backup on AWS. Configuring, monitoring and automating Amazon Web Services. Deploying the content cloud platform on AWS using EC2, S3 and EBS. Designing, developing, and building the technical solution using the appropriate tools. Analyzing and identifying technical areas of improvement within existing applications. Responsible for testing and deployments in various environments. Developing and directing system testing, including analysis, design, development (coding), unit testing and implementation. Researching and recommending new tools and technology frameworks that can drive innovation and differentiation of software. Being a technical resource for direct communications to team members in the project development, testing and implementation processes. Conferring with project team and customer about system design and maintenance as well as to obtain information on project scope, limitations, capabilities, requirements and project status updates. Documenting modifications and enhancements made to the applications as required by the project.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one year’s experience in position or one year’s experience in IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with AWS, Splunk, Chef, Jenkins, Java Script, Oracle, SQL Server, Github, LINUX/UNIX and .NET framework. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
