Planning and executing a variety of methodologies in the overall project development of data warehouses and data lakes. Creating models and prototypes. Researching, planning and developing project strategies. Coordinating the full life cycle of the data warehouse development using ETL, AWS and Python. Creating Unix shell scripts to run the workflows and control the ETL flow. Developing the data mappings using ETL standards. Building the ETL architecture and source to target mapping to load data into the data warehouse. Overseeing the implementation of test validations of the databases. Ensuring the optimization of the databases. Ensuring smooth migration of data to AWS cloud environments. Performing root cause analysis and taking preventive actions. Resolving functional issues and support administrative activities for systems.
Requirements: Master’s Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Information Technology or Engineering and one year’s experience in position or one year’s experience in IT field (or Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience).
Special requirements: Experience with ETL, AWS and Python. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in the United States.
