RF Engineers II
Perform complex RF engineering activities supporting the design, development and optimization of a wireless network, including: perform radio propagation modeling and prediction to determine cell site location, determining equipment and power configurations, forecasting channel capacity requirements, planning and optimizing system traffic and developing design standards to ensure system quality using Atoll, RFDS, MS Visio, VoLTE, Actix or Nemo or QXDM, Mapinfo, LTE, CDMA, GSM, WCDMA and EvDO; provide some training assistance to lower level engineers; conduct complex network system administration and design engineering activities to maximize network capacity; perform engineering functions related to interconnect equipment and facilities, signaling systems, switches and traffic; independently perform professional engineering assignments in functional area which involves the planning, evaluation and substantial adaptation and modification of standard techniques, procedures and criteria.
Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, Information Technology Management or Engineering and two years’ experience in position or two years’ experience in related IT field. In lieu of a Master’s Degree, Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in any of the above specified fields and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related IT Field.
Special requirements: Any experience with Atoll, RFDS, MS Visio, VoLTE, Actix or Nemo or QXDM, Mapinfo, LTE, CDMA, GSM, WCDMA and EvDO. Travel to various unanticipated client sites required. May reside anywhere in US. EOE/AA
